Introducing Emma & David’s wedding photos! Yet another glorious July weekend (of course with a bit of rain) and an even more glorious couple. I’d been looking forward to shooting this one from the moment Emma and David told me all about it. You see, David and I go way back to our motorway cruising, pub exploring, holiday making, movie creating, shenanigan initiating teens – so this was no ordinary wedding! I just new it was going to be a total blast and it turned out to be just that!
The entire day was amazing fun, particularly as I knew so many of the guests (all trying to photobomb every shot)… but most of all, THE ATMOSPHERE ROCKED! The bridal party were AWESOME to photograph (well selected Emma) and I have to say, the boys weren’t bad either! I just loved how their families and friends were utterly magnificent at pulling out all the stops, the flowers were truly stunning, the cake was beautifully crafted and all the decorations were creatively inspired (especially the polystyrene glider planes).
St. Andrew’s Church in Cheam played host to the wonderful ceremony and Surrey’s very own National Golf Club took care of the rest. They even let us loose with a couple of golf buggies, which were obviously returned shipshape and Bristol fashion(ish).
I loved the speeches! David was cuffed and put on trial by his best men, answering for some of his past escapades. The jury (guests) found him guilty having heard all the evidence, but a pardon was administered as it was understood that Dave was an alright bloke in the end.
It was a real honour to capture Emma and David’s wedding, what a chilled couple! They were even up for getting their heads wet for a final rain shot! Massive thanks and blessings to you both! Enjoy the highlights!
