Wedding Photography at Russets Country House – Jo & Leigh
Wedding Location - St John the Baptist Church, Belmont |
Reception Location - Russets Country House, Surrey
Well here we go – the wedding of Jo & Leigh! This one was a little bit different for me – well, very much so actually. It’s not everyday you get to shoot your little sister’s wedding! Jo is nearly eight years younger than me, I can clearly remember my grandparents taking my brother (dressed as superman) and I to meet her at Epsom Hospital. It’s unbelievable that twenty seven years later I’d be photographing my Dad walking her down the aisle! The ceremony was conducted at the St John the Baptist Church, Belmont by The Rt. Rev. Dr. Bill Musk – great to see him in action again! What an emotional and amazing hour that was, great band, great message and Stevie Wonder popped in too… sort of (go Nat)! It’s always very special to be part of one of the most significant days of a couple’s life, and see their families embrace each other. Multiply that by a million when it’s your own family! Jo & Leigh must have spent the last couple of years looking for the perfect venue – and boy did they find a cracker!
Russets Country House – a beautifully designed contemporary venue, nestled in the wonderful countryside of Surrey. The pulled pork was extraordinary and the wines were fantastic too! Kate & Tim, you guys were awesome! Loved your style! It was also great to see the incredible Chocolate Charlie perform during the evening, they just brought it! Simple.I’ll never forget the moment when Jo entered the Church, and Leigh’s reaction to it. I’m so glad they took this inspired step together, they are both equally blessed to become the team that they are and take on their future together. I can also thank Jo for providing me with the best brother-in-law I could ever hope for… you are in safe hands Jo! I’m very proud of you both! Well done all the O’Brien’s… well done all the Fletcher’s! Look out world! Much love! M 😉Interested in my wedding photography at Russets Country House, drop me a line!
