Christies Bistro Wedding Photography – Mary & Reuben
Wedding Location - !Audacious Church, Manchester |
Reception Location - Christie's Bistro (The University of Manchester)
It’s my pleasure to (finally, yeah – busy summer) blog Mary & Reuben’s epic wedding in Manchester. Woop! You may recognise these two from their engagement session in the Peak District earlier this year (photos to be blogged at some point!), which meant they only had one (major) thing to do… GET MARRIED!It was great to be back in the city of Manchester once again, and of course, it was awesome to be working with Mary & Reuben too. The ceremony was held at !Audacious Church, which wasn’t like any other Church I’d been to… or you for that matter. If you’re in Manchester, I’d check it out. Click here to find out more!Next up, it was over to Christie’s Bistro… which is nestled within the University of Manchester’s midst. What a place! If you like your nooks and crannies (course ya do), this place will be right up your street. We were initially shown around by one of the caretakers, my smile grew wider and wider… particularly when we entered the assembly room. Look out for the organ photos 😉
There’s a real sense of presence when you enter the Bistro’s dining room, because it’s so much more than that. It’s an amazing room which is full of the University’s history and provides a stunning backdrop to any wedding! Indiana Jones would have loved it here, it’s one of the most historic and impressive buildings in Manchester City Centre. I could describe it to you, but there’s a stack of photos below!Special thanks to Jess Mcghie for shooting this one with me – she has excellent photography powers and is awesome in an all-round sense too. Thank you Jess! Thanks for not falling off any chairs too (another skill). #jessfact – she loves coffee in a ridiculously big way.Mary & Reuben – t’was a pleasure! You guys were amazing once again and I loved being part of your magnificent day. Your friends and families were epic, as were your singing/drumming skills!Enjoy the highlights!
