The Most Incredible Wedding at Port Lympne Safari Park


Here’s something a bit different! 😎 Yup — we’re at Port Lympne Safari Park for this one! 🦒🐫


Charlotte got in touch at the beginning of 2024 and said:


We were drawn to you because of the natural and fun style of your photographs. We want to avoid portrait-style posed photos! We both met at school and a whole 11.5 years later, he finally proposed, and here we are looking for a wedding photographer! Your photography style really appeals to us, and we love the sound of your working style too from your website. We’d therefore love to know if you have availability on our wedding date!


I did have availability — and their date went straight into my diary. 📔✨ It was so much fun hearing Charlotte & Ashley explain more about Port Lympne, as I’d never even heard of it until then. Amazing to think there’s an actual safari park in Kent… I genuinely thought you’d have to head to South Africa for that. 🌍


This was going to be a pretty big wedding, so I teamed up with Lottie once again — she looked after the boys while I stayed with the girls. We were completely blown away by Port Lympne… what an incredible experience shooting this one, especially when the entire wedding party (us included 😅) were taken out on the safari trail. The camels were a definite highlight for me 🐫… but we never did see the Red Pandas (whatever they are). 🤷‍♂️🐼


Looks like I’ll just have to go back! 😉📸
