Their wedding brief? A black-tie extravaganza… but make it not Christmassy. A tricky balance when you’re getting married between Christmas and New Year’s, but challenge accepted!

✈️ Spend weekends walking the dogs, trying new restaurants, or jetting off on adventures
So, as you can probably guess… I was ALL IN. And what a wedding it was—my last of 2024, and honestly, what a way to wrap up the year! Sure, we weren’t meant to go all-out on the festive vibes, but hang on… if you’re having a wedding at the tail end of December, a few decorations are sneaking in. And since it was that glorious time between Christmas and New Year's, NOBODY had to be up early the next day. Which meant those cocktails? Destroyed. And the dancefloor? Absolute carnage. 🔥
SO, WHAT ABOUT BOTLEY HILL BARN?
If you love countryside rustic with a modern twist, this place is an absolute dream. The ceremony barn? Jaw-dropping. The reception barn? Gorgeous. The views? Apparently stunning… but thanks to the fog, I’ll have to take everyone’s word for it. 😂
